Hard-Hitting Rock. Alien Babes. An Unforgettable Night of Entertainment.
A show with Jade Steel & Emerald Triangle isn't just a rock concert — it’s a full-throttle multimedia adventure. Blending hard-hitting rock with out of this world sci-fi visuals, this high-octane stage extravaganza thrills you with unforgettable riffs, gripping vocals, and a killer story line.
Jade Steel & Emerald Triangle is an American rock band founded by native San Francisco musician, singer, and lyricist Jade Steel, in collaboration with longtime producer Andre Jonson. The band is celebrated for its theatrical, multimedia live shows. With original music that blends hard rock, reggae and metal, the band delivers a heart-pounding live experience where each song launches you into a chapter from Jade's original comic book concept, "Tales of the Rondo".
Their current live show revolves around this sexy, cheeky, sci-fi romp through galaxies, heroic deeds, intergalactic warfare- and of course space babes. Each song launches you into a new character or cosmic twist in this outrageous comic book universe.
Think Ziggy Stardust meets Rob Zombie- with a blaster in one hand and a microphone in the other.
Scalable for any venue — from barroom bangers to full theatrical productions.
The Concept
A lifelong comic book collector and science fiction fan, Steel has been deeply influenced by the underground and mainstream worlds alike—from Rip Off Press and Gilbert Shelton to Marvel creators like Jack Kirby and Stan Lee. These influences culminated in his signature concept: Tales of the Rondo, a sci-fi saga chronicling Jade’s abduction into space and the discovery of an ancient alien device called "The Rondo", created by a godlike being known as "The Great Mondo Kush."
The Rondo contains a mysterious stone with a green spot—central to Jade’s interdimensional journeys. Every song in Tales of the Rondo represents a character or plot twist in this narrative-driven rock experience; blending comic book mythology, cosmic satire, and rock theatrics.

Career
Jade Steel first appeared in the punk scene with the band Corrupted Youth, later fronting the heavy metal band Cold Steel. He then launched a solo career with the self-titled album Jade Steel, where he began to explore a wide range of musical genres including pop, rock, reggae, and heavy metal.
In 2024, Steel released the international single "UFO / Don’t Take It All Away", co-produced with Thai rock legend Pi Add (Carabao) and featuring Ry Kihn (son of Greg Kihn). Steel directs and edits his own music videos, including the visually rich "Villains", "Party People", and "Rondo Trailer".
Live Performances
Steel’s live shows are true performance art—integrating strong visual narratives, alien dance troupes, and costumed villains with live instrumentation. The band has toured throughout the United States and internationally in Germany, Thailand, India, and Malaysia. Their home base includes frequent performances in Northern California’s Emerald Triangle, known for its countercultural roots.
